Working for a property developer at Devonshire Quarter in Sheffield in the summer of 2024. We was brought on board to restore and extend columns up to 10m in height

Structurally the client could not give us information on the supporting brickwork wall, so it was decided to take the 12no columns up in 600mm pours with each pour counterleaving of the last lift

We took the columns up to around 7m in height before the roof steel was removed allowing us to remobilise and finish the columns off.

The job ran smoothly and we managed to improve on the clients programme by several weeks
